The Life of Muhammad (P.B.U.H) – (English) – (PB) TBD

“Preface
Here is a modest attempt on a lofty subject, a subject which is so vast and deep that one cannot fully comprehend it. I have in own humble way tried to describe some of the aspects of Muhhammad’s august personality (peace be upon him). The outcome of my two and a half years’ labour is before God and man, and certainly it is not for me to pass any judgment on it.
It must be stated with sincere humility that the Author Name(s) has no pretensions to have written a scientific history of the ‘Holy Prophet. He has approached Muhammad (peace be upon him) not in the spirit of a pedantic critic, but with a.’ simple-hearted form of at’ devotion and love for the benefactor of mankind.
The chronological order or events has not been strictly followed. It has been done with a view to presenting unified picture of the Prophet’s sacred life. ‘Certain interrelated thoughts and facts have been gathered together and discussed at one place instead of eaving them scattered here and there in the course of narration. In this process some events have been considerably shortened, where others have been lengthened more than is customary;
No biography of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is complete which does not mention his teachings and their practical effects human life. It is of basic importance for the proper understanding and correct appreciation of his Divine Mission. Passing allusions have, no doubt, been made here and there, but it requires another volume to acquaint the people with ideals, the Holy Prophet preached and the way he transmuted them into reality.
I owe debt of deep gratitude to Maulana Syed Abut A’la Maudoodi, Mr. Ebrahim Bawany, Prof. Khurshid Ahmed, Ch. Ghulam Muhammad, Mr. Misbah-ul-Islam Farooqi, Mr. Shahzad Muhammad, Malik Ghulam Ali, and Dr. ‘Abid Ahmad ‘Ali for their constant help and encouragement. Dr. Prof. Zafar lshaque Ansari very kindly revised the manuscript and gave me very valuable suggestions. I am deeply obliged to him. Mr Ghulam Sarwar typed the final draft of the manuscript and Syed ‘Ata Husain and Mr. Ashraf Darr prepared it for the press. I am thankful to all of them.
If there is any merit discernible in the work, it is absolutely due to the grace and mercy of Allah, and for all acts of omission and commission, the writer alone is to be held responsible.
