“The Objective” is a written form of a lecture given by Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi Sahib (RA) on 27th June 1906in the Jama Masjid of Muradabad covering One’s objective in Life, the Laws and effects of making of both the world and hereafter.
About – This was a lecture delivered by Hadrat Hakimul Ummah Moulana Ashraf Ali Sahab Thanwi (Rahimahullah) on the blessed day of Friday 5th Jumadal Ula 1324 corresponding to 27th June 1906 in the Jame Masjid of Muradabad. The topic covered the laws and effects of making both the world and the hereafter one’s objective and was delivered before an audience of approximately five thousand people. It lasted for about two hours and five minutes and was penned by Moulana Zafar Ahmed Sahib Uthmani Thanwi (Rahimahullah). The name of the lecture has a bearing on the name of the city (Muradabad) in which it was delivered.
